Salt & Pepper Games Take a Seat - Board Game (ENG)
“Take a Seat” introduces an innovative mechanic called Share & Write, where the randomness is created through player interaction (rather than with a die or a card). On each turn, players are given a panel and must decide whether to use the usher's ability or receive points directly. They must then mark a reservation on the board to their right or left (depending on the turn) by scratching one of the 4 tickets from the reservation panel. Finally, they must assign seats in the theater by marking the perimeter and circles corresponding to the selected pieces in the previous step. The game lasts 14 turns. Once it's over, move on to the final score. There are 3 areas to score points: goal cards, reservation majorities and an usher bonus. Players add all points together to get the total score. The player with the highest score wins the game.

By building a fleet of merchant, diplomatic and combat ships, you will gain influence across the galaxy - and in the laboratories your scientists can discover new technologies that can turn the duel in your favor at the right time. At the same time, you can use cards as resources to build your empire. Is it better to play the card - or pay with it? Combining cards correctly allows you to have better and more varied options in later turns. Whoever builds the best functioning new civilization after three eras wins.

Quality Beast Philosophy - Board Game (ENG)
Philosophy is a relaxing, abstract two-player game. In this game you and your fellow player are two friends having a conversation. The board represents your conversation space, and your pieces represent your ideas. The aim of the game is simple: connect 3 of your ideas in a row somewhere on the board. This is called a Conclusion. You will take turns placing your ideas on the board, with the restriction that new tiles can only be placed in the nine central spaces. Each tile has a space it will face with a unique effect. When placed correctly, a player's tiles can push or pull the opponent's tiles. Moved tiles can also push adjacent tiles or even enter the target space of the current player's previously placed tiles, causing chain reactions. Tiles that are eventually pushed off the board are returned to the player who owns them. The game ends when a single player has reached a Conclusion: three of their tiles connected in a line, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Philosophy often feels more like a puzzle than a competitive game, as the state of the board becomes more complicated and changes between turns. The soothing theme, simple mechanics, tough decisions and high-quality production come together to deliver a high-quality experience for avid players and casual players alike.

Salt & Pepper Games The Battle of Versailles - Board Game (ENG)
"The Battle of Versailles" was a fashion show that took place in 1973 in Versailles, France, where five American designers competed against five French designers. The American designers, including Anne Klein, Halston, Oscar de la Renta, Stephen Burrows and Bill Blass, were considered more innovative and less traditional than the French designers: Yves Saint Laurent, Hubert de Givenchy, Emanuel Ungaro, Pierre Cardin and Christian Dior . The American designers ultimately won the competition and thus strengthened their position in the fashion world. The event received widespread media attention and is considered a turning point in the history of fashion. In the game "The Battle of Versailles", players take on the role of the team of France and the United States, who face each other by playing action cards to show off their best dresses, attract the most popular celebrities, or the to annoy an opponent by spreading gossip. They also compete to contribute more to the reconstruction of the Palace of Versailles than their opponent. The French player has five actions per round, which matches the classic but overly long show (2 hours and 30 minutes) they put on, while the American player only has three actions per round, because their show was fresh, innovative and short ( only 37 minutes).

Oink Games Town 77 - Board Game (ENG)
In Town 77 — located just down the road from Town 66 — residents can't stand seeing houses of the same shape or color next to each other. Try to build as many houses as possible, but keep in mind which houses in your hand can be built at the end. In Town 77, each player has a hand of tiles, with each tile showing one of the seven house styles in one of the seven colors/patterns. (The color/pattern of a tile is also visible on the back.) The game contains a total of 49 tiles, one for each possible combination. Each player starts with a random hand of tiles. The first player places a tile in the top left corner of an imaginary 7x7 square. Then each player adds a tile in his turn to a row or column in this square, as long as this tile is adjacent to at least one other tile and the color/house style is not yet present in this row and column. After playing a tile, a player can choose whether or not to draw a new tile. Once you reduce your hand size, you cannot increase it anymore. If you cannot play a tile on a turn, you are out of the game. Once everyone is out of the game, whoever has the fewest tiles in hand — or who played last in the event of a tie — wins. If you play your last tile you win, but if you don't draw any new tiles you risk not being able to play anymore!

Oink Games Tiger & Dragons - Board Game (ENG)
Players in Tiger & Dragon draw tiles from their hand to participate in waves of attack and defense. Be the first player to clear their hand to score points based on one of the ten score cards used in this round. The game contains 38 tiles: 36 numbered tiles with one 1, two 2's, etc. up to eight 8's, along with a tiger and a dragon. Shuffle the tiles face down, then each player takes tiles based on the number of players, with the starting player taking one additional tile. For example, with four players, the starting player takes ten tiles and all other players take nine. At least one tile remains out of play. The starting player attacks by playing a tile from their hand. The next player can choose to either pass or defend the attack by playing the same tile. Note that the dragon defends against every odd numbered tile and the tiger against every even numbered tile. After defending, you place your own tile to attack. If a player passes, the next player can either pass or defend. If all other players pass your attack, place a tile from your hand face down and then choose a new tile to attack again. When attacking with the dragon or tiger, a player can defend with any odd- or even-numbered tile, respectively. The first player to empty their hand wins the round and scores points based on the last tile they played and the specific scorecard for that round. They get 1 bonus point for each time their attack remained undefended. At the end of a round, if a player has scored 10+ points, they win.

Oink Games In A Grove - Card Game (ENG)
In a Grove is a bluffing and deduction game where the player who makes too many false accusations loses the game. The game is played in rounds. Each round, each player receives one of eight silhouettes (numbered 2-8 with one empty), while three silhouettes are placed as suspects in the center of the table and the last silhouette is designated as the victim. You must determine which suspect is the guilty one, either to accuse him or to lure other players into accusing someone who is innocent! All players secretly look at their silhouettes, then pass them to the right and look at the new silhouette they received. The first player of the round secretly looks at two of the three suspects and, if desired, exchanges the victim for one of these suspects. This player then places a colored accusation marker under one of the suspects. The next player looks at the two suspects not marked with an accusation marker, then places their own colored accusation marker, covering any markers already under that suspect. This continues until all four players have placed an accusation marker, with each player not allowed to look at the suspect just accused. The round ends and players reveal the suspects. Who is to blame? The suspect with the highest number - unless the #5 is among the suspects, in which case the suspect with the lowest number is guilty. (The suspect without a number is always innocent.) Anyone who accused the correct suspect gets their charge marker back. Any misplaced markers are turned over with the colored side down and given to the player holding the top marker of the pile. At the end of a turn, if a player has eight or more markers - or has no markers - the game ends and that player loses.

Cards Against Humanity Cards Against Humanity - Card Game (ENG)
"A party game for terrible people." The game begins with a judge, known as the "Card Czaar", who chooses a black question or fill-in card from the top of the deck and shows it to all players. Each player has a hand of ten white answer cards at the start of each round and deals one card (sometimes two) face down to the Card Czar, representing their answer to the question on the card. The Card Czaar determines which answer card(s) are the funniest in the context of the question or fill-in card. The player who submitted the chosen card(s) is given the Question Card to represent an "Awesome Point", and then the player to the left of the new Card Czaar becomes the new Czaar for the next round. The game continues until the players decide to stop, at which point the player with the most Awesome Points is the winner. So far it sounds like the popular and fairly harmless game "Apples to Apples". Although the games are similar, the humor required is very different. The game encourages players to joke about virtually any uncomfortable or taboo topic, including race, religion, gender, poverty, torture, alcoholism, drugs, sex (yes, really), abortion, child abuse, celebrities, and those everyday little annoyances like “expecting a burp and vomiting on the floor.” Plus, there are a few extra rules. First, some question cards are "Pick 2" or cards, where each participant must submit two cards in order to complete their answer. Secondly, there is also a gambling component. If a question is played that a player thinks has two possible winning answers, he can wager an Awesome Point to play a single second answer. If the betting player wins, he keeps the point wagered, but if he loses, the player who contributed the winning answer takes both points.

Write Stuff Games Fliptown - Card Game (ENG)
Fliptown is a flip-and-write game where you try to earn stars by exploring a Wild West town. The game uses a standard poker set to encourage an open world style of play, along with whiteboard-style boards that serve as each player's cards. Each turn you turn over three cards and assign one card to indicate your suit, one card to indicate your value, and one card to indicate your poker card. The color determines which of the four regions you activate, the value determines which location within that region you can circle, and the poker card goes to a five-card poker hand that is completed at the end of each round. Each of the four regions - Trail, Badlands, Mine, and Town - offers a different problem to overcome, while each location within a region offers unique rewards such as money, gold, useful items such as pistols, horses and tools, or bonus actions to create powerful combinations. For solo play, you can play to get a high score or compete against one of four "cowbot" robot opponents, each with their own motivation. Horrible Guild Similo: The Lord of the Rings - Card Game (ENG)
This edition of the acclaimed deduction game comes with a deck of 39 large cards, beautifully illustrated by Naïade, featuring the portrait and name of a series of characters from Middle-earth. Fans will try to guess a secret character from Middle-earth among the twelve displayed on the table. They are assisted by the Clue Giver, who plays cards from their hand as clues to indicate which cards to remove. For example, if the Secret Card is Frodo Baggins, you could play Éowyn to tell the Riddlers that the characters to remove are Human, Female, or Rohirrim. Or you could play Saruman to indicate that the characters to be removed are wizards or have white hair... it's up to the Riddlers to understand what the Clue Giver is trying to suggest! You can also combine different versions by using one deck for the characters and the other for the clues... can you guess which character has something in common with Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore and Ron Weasley from Similo: Harry Potter? The Games Friends: “Similo is such a great game for a quick snack. You play a game in 10 minutes, but still have the feeling that you have completed a full game. Highly recommended for fans of Dixit, Mysterium and Obscurio!"

Bitewing Games Cascadito - Dice Game (ENG)
The kingdom is gathering again, but the work of El Cascadero and his ministers has only just begun. Many challenges and opportunities await the kingdom. Bandits threaten to overwhelm the cities, rivers offer new forms of travel, trade continues to grow and the borders must be defended. Cascadito is the smaller counterpart of the large board game, Cascadero, designed by Reiner Knizia. Each player receives their own sheet of paper and a pencil. 6 dice are rolled and players take turns choosing a die to fill in a space on their card. The dice show 5 colors, representing the 5 types of cities on the map. When a colored die is chosen, the player fills in a space adjacent to a city of the same color. By reaching cities with groups of filled spaces, players will activate city points. If players plan their routes wisely, these successes can trigger a cascade of combinations to give them a competitive advantage in earning public achievements and private bonuses. The game ends immediately when all public achievements have been completed or when a player has achieved all private bonuses. Players then add up their successes and achievements to determine the winner.
