From award-winning game designer Reiner Knizia comes a game of strategy, patience and cool camels! The desert is still treacherous, mysterious and unforgiving. But for those willing to brave the dangers of the shifting, sun-baked sands, the desert holds untold riches.

In Through the Desert, two to five players each control a tribe of nomads battling for control of the desert. By setting up caravans and taking over oases, players earn points as their tribes grow in strength.

Strategy is key when deciding how and where to build your tribe's caravans. There are multiple ways to earn points and different ways to win. Should you try to build the longest caravan? Or should you dominate the oases of the desert? Don't forget to keep an eye on your opponents' caravans, otherwise you risk having your own tribe cut off from valuable water wells.
