Each round, you take turns clockwise and take a plant card or room card and an item or care token from the market and add them to your personal playing area. During the game you add items to your house and try to complete as many plants as possible by taking good care of them. On your turn, you take a card and a token from one column of your choice from the market and place them in your personal playing area. Each player builds up his personal playing area in a checkerboard pattern (5 cards wide and 3 cards long). All cards you place in your personal playing area must be placed adjacent to cards already placed. Try to meet the plant's light preferences to complete the plant. You complete plants by making them greener and finally placing a flower pot token on them. At the end of each turn, the market is replenished and a thumb token is placed on the unchosen card in the same column.
