Teotihuacan: City of the Gods is a strategic game in which the use of workers and raw materials, smart planning and adaptability are important. Each player orders a group of dice workers to move around action locations on a modular board.
On his turn, each player moves a worker to a new location, chooses one of the two action options there (and upgrades his workers) or takes a strong bonus action (but without upgrading). As the mysterious decline of Teotihuacan approaches, players acquire technologies, work on the beautiful Pyramid of the Sun, build homes for the city's inhabitants, collect precious masks and climb the stairs of three great temples to earn bonuses given by the gods.
Create a strategy, change it with every other board build, and keep an eye on the sky, because every upcoming solar eclipse means your efforts will be evaluated - and your fame could rise or become worthless.
The Games Friends: “ Are you a fan of a strategic board game where you can win in many different ways? Then Teotihuacan is highly recommended. In terms of difficulty, we think it is a bit comparable to Terra Mystica and the theme is of course reminiscent of Tzolk'in (a game by the same maker). Apart from all that, Teotihuacan is a unique game with many possibilities. In our opinion, highly recommended! We really enjoy playing it!”
