The Targia, a Tuareg woman, walks towards the rover, bringing something extra to the less desirable fringe areas. If a Targi joins her, he will be rewarded.

If a Targi goes to the sand dunes, he will also be able to gain great benefits there. But you do lose a valuable action. And the precious water also offers you extra flexibility and more variation in the game flow.
