Description

After a series of catastrophes left civilization in ruins, societies across the world are rebuilding, this time in harmony with nature. Scotland lies in ruins, and the ancient clans have taken it upon themselves to restore the land. As clan leaders, players compete for strategic control of the territory by rebuilding prestigious castles.

Rebirth is a tile-laying game by Reiner Knizia that revitalizes this classic genre by combining smooth gameplay with beautiful artwork. The result is a eurogame with simple gameplay, yet plenty of strategic depth.

Each turn, players draw a tile from their supply and place it on the board. The tiles represent their clan's contribution to the rebuilding of the land. Rebirth rewards foresight and clever tactical choices, with decisions becoming increasingly challenging as the game progresses.
