Rajas of the Ganges - Board Game

Description

Ganges is a challenging game for the true enthusiast, where strategic insight and karma go hand in hand.

You are an Indian ruler, who tries to collect fame and wealth with the help of workers and collected dice. You have your own province tableau on which you build tiles, which have various advantages when performing actions on the game board. Reaching the edge of your tableau also provides bonus actions.

On the game board you can go to the harbor, where you take your boat onto the Ganges river to earn various bonuses. The market gives you money in combination with the markets on your game board. The palace offers various action options, including obtaining dice or re-rolling them. In the quarry you can purchase tiles for your tableau. For most actions, in addition to a worker, you also need a die of a certain value to be allowed to perform them.

You have 2 scoring stones, one for fame and one for money, that run in opposite directions. To win, both stones must have reached or passed each other. Whoever achieves this with the largest difference wins the game.

The Games Friends:Rajas of the Ganges is a wonderful game by Inka and Markus Brand. There are a lot of action options and ways to win, especially since you can focus on two different victory tracks. In addition, the scoring system is very original! Highly recommended for fans of Marco Polo, for example!"
