Moon Colony Bloodbath - Board Game (ENG)

Description

Cities on the moon! This will be humanity's pinnacle. Finally, no longer bound to Earth—the moon, a gateway to the stars. The rockets are loaded with supplies and colonists; the robots are programmed and ready to go.

Everything has been planned down to the smallest detail, and there's absolutely no chance of failure. Let's go to the moon!

Moon Colony Bloodbath is a tableau game where you build an engine... and then lose. Players collectively build a shared deck that sets things in motion—many of which are disastrous and deadly for your moon colony, but some are positive and actually give you building opportunities.

Each turn, one card from the shared deck is revealed. This deck starts with four work cards, two problem situations, and two twists. With work cards, each player simultaneously chooses an action: earn money by mining, grow food, obtain cards through research, construct a new building, or refill buildings with supplies. Twists vary by game and provide unexpected twists.

Trouble cards add new event cards to the deck: hunger, red tape, malfunctions, accidents, leaks, power outages—anything that can go wrong will go wrong. And every time the deck is shuffled, you have to prepare for all these misery again.

Players can also add cards to the shared deck themselves: perks that only they can use or developments that affect all players.

The game ends when a player runs out of colonists, or when the event deck reaches the end. The player with the most survivors wins.

Welcome to the moon. Good luck... you'll need it.
