John Company: 2nd Edition - Board Game (ENG)

Description

John Company is an interactive historical game about the rise and fall of the British East India Company, from the designer of Root, Pax Pamir, and Oath. John Company is a business game with an important twist: players must jointly steer the fate of one massive organization. They navigate extensive bureaucracy and face the consequences of their actions on the Indian subcontinent.

This new edition, based on the acclaimed 2017 game, reinterprets the original with luxurious components and revamped gameplay that offers new strategic challenges. John Company is the result of over 10 years of research into the workings of the East India Company and paints an uncompromising portrait of the people who laid the foundations of the British Empire.

The immersive storytelling places you in the midst of the vast and complex bureaucracy of the East India Company in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Negotiate, pass legislation, strike desperate deals, and wield political power as you pursue the ambitions of your infamous family.

The deluxe components, including wooden family pieces, a resin elephant, and over 100 cards with period-appropriate artwork, bring this historical era to life.

John Company offers an unforgettable cooperative and competitive business simulation, developed through over a decade of research and refinement.
