Hansa Teutonica Big Box - Board Game

Description

During the Middle Ages, the German Hanseatic League (Latin: Hansa Teutonica) was a partnership of mainly merchants from Northern Germany. Cities that joined the Hanseatic League of Merchants and Cities were called Hanseatic Cities. The partnership between the Hanseatic cities is never based on a treaty or contracts.

It is therefore difficult to precisely indicate all cities that belonged to the Hanseatic League, also because it is important to know when cities joined it. In total there are at least 200 cities that were at some point directly or indirectly part of the German Hanseatic League. Hansa Teutonica is a strategic game where you have a lot of freedom in choosing and using your actions.

Make smart use of your merchants and wholesalers, improve your properties in time, keep a constant eye on your opponents and take advantage of the opportunities that arise to earn prestige. Whoever knows how to combine these components best will become the most successful trader in the history of the Hanseatic League.

The Games Friends: " Hansa Teutonica is a wonderful classic, with relatively simple rules. But don't let that confuse you, because you have quite a few tactical choices to make. Especially the fact that you can build a nice engine by We really like connecting more and more cities to your network. "
