Description

Darkest Doom is a competitive strategy game with RPG elements. It is set in a dark fantasy world inspired by 17th-century Europe, inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. Can you survive the 8 days of the Eclipse as the Darkness tries to destroy the Betel region, while simultaneously competing with the other Guardians to complete one of the four paths to victory?

In the board game Darkest Doom, you control one of four formidable Guardians, each with unique skills and attributes. As you explore the Betel region, you can take advantage of the different terrains and their unique characteristics. You improve your Guardian's statistics by completing missions assigned to you by Vicar Percival, adjusting your strategy and approach to the game based on the statistics you choose to upgrade. During your explorations, you will also encounter ancient relics that will help you achieve one of the four victory conditions.

Every new round is a new dawn, and thanks to the Citadel replenishment, you always get help replenishing your hand cards, which you can choose from different stacks: Equipment, Spells, and Traps. The same card has different effects depending on the player using it and the statistics they have chosen to improve.

Play alone with the Bot Guardians mode, which allows you to play with up to three automated Guardians, or prove your skills by challenging three other players in this dark fantasy adventure that combines elements of role-playing, exploration, hand management, and traditional board games.
