Build bridges over cities and monasteries and expand your roads in an alternative way. If you complete a small city, instead of scoring points, you can choose to turn it into a fortress. This allows you to speculate on more points later in the game. Tiles are auctioned at the bazaar, and you have to pay with points!

With Bridges, Castles & Bazaars, Carcassonne gets even more possibilities and you can come up with even more interesting tactics. With Cathedrals & Inns you can also play this expansion with 6 players.
