DSV Secret Santa 2023!

The concept

It's time for DSV Secret Santa for the 3rd year in a row! The Secret Santa concept came over from the United States and is better known in the Netherlands as drawing lots. Each participant is assigned a random other participant (Secret Santa) who buys gifts for him or her. At the same time, you are also the Secret Santa of another participant!

Participate?

Become a member of the DSV Club! In addition to many other benefits, you can also register for the DSV Secret Santa 2023. Just try it out, if you don't like it, you can of course simply cancel your membership in January.

We have chosen to organize the Secret Santa from the DSV Club again this year, because you can be sure that only serious game enthusiasts participate who really enjoy it and do their best for each other .

Schedule

October 20, 2023 - registrations are open
You can register now! You will find the link to the registration form in the Telegram group of the DSV Club

November 19, 2023 - final registration date
Participants can no longer register after this date. Shortly afterwards, everyone receives his or her Target. You can now communicate anonymously with your Secret Santa and Target. Participants order gifts based on the wish lists.

December 17, 2023 - deadline for ordering gifts
Each participant must order his or her gifts before this date. This is well before Christmas so that the packages have sufficient time to be delivered to the participants.

December 18, 2023 - gifts are sent
Have you ordered your gifts from De Spelletjes Vrienden? These will then be sent from this date. Please note: you may receive a track-and-trace code earlier, because your order will be packed earlier. If you order somewhere else or ship yourself, make sure they are posted on December 18 so that everyone receives their gifts at the same time.

The rules

To ensure that everything runs smoothly, a number of rules are needed. Read this carefully so as not to be disappointed.

• By participating you are obliged to spend at least €60 (including shipping costs) for your target, you may choose to spend more. But there is no guarantee that you will get these values ​​back.
• You must share your Wishlist in the DSV Secret Santa telegram group in the appropriate channel. You must do this before registrations close! You can always adjust your wish list, but be sure to inform your Secret Santa.
• You order your gifts before the final order date.
• There will be an option to communicate anonymously with your Secret Santa and Target (more on this later). When you receive such a message, it would be greatly appreciated if you responded.

Order process

When ordering your gift(s), take the following points into account:

• Spend at least €60 (incl. shipping costs) on gifts for your target
• Order your gifts from De Spelletjes Vrienden no later than December 17, 2022
• When ordering, choose "SHIPPING TO ANOTHER ADDRESS?". Enter the address of your Secret Santa here. The billing address is your own address
• Under Order Notes you place: Secret Santa 2023
• Optionally you can add a letter in the order notes, this is only possible at the time of ordering! Only text without formatting is possible. Do you want layout and/or images? please use https://justpaste.it/ and place the link in the order notes. The letter will be added to your package
• Send your invoice or order confirmation to the secret santa email address.
• The Games Friends will send the packages from December 18, 2022, you may receive a Track & Trace email earlier when your package is packed. This will remain in the warehouse until December 18th.
• Do you want to send your gifts yourself or do you use another store? Then make sure that these are also sent around December 18, 2022 so that they arrive at the same time as the other packages
