In Télos, players compete for battles with their Greek Gods. However, they only have one goal each round: to avoid winning the last trick of a round. This is easier said than done: players should always play a higher card than what is already on the table. Can't they? Then they must play their lowest card. Zeus has a special role in this, but scores extra points if players win the last battle with him.
