Island Siege is a fast-paced game of fort building and colonization in the Caribbean Sea. Players build forts on the coast to defend their settlers from attacks and to score points. Forts allow you to deploy colonists, who in turn can safely build ships and buildings that earn skills and points. By attacking, you can scrape away your opponent's fortress while gaining cubes that are used to build your own fortresses. Your goal is to score 20 coins or get all your colonists into the game! The second (anniversary) edition of Island Siege includes components and rules for up to four players! The original two-player game featured red and yellow settlers. The anniversary edition also includes green and blue colonists, as well as additional coins, cubes and other components needed for four players. It also includes the Ramparts and Coquina expansions from the first edition that are now included with the base game. Also included are deluxe two-tier Imperial player boards. The new Imperial boards feature an island with a quarry to store the collected stones and a harbor to dock your ship. The signs are printed on thick cardboard. Notches prevent pieces from shifting.
