In this cooperative game you play as a team of pilots who have to land their passenger plane at airports around the world. But that's definitely not as easy as you think! You must communicate with the control tower to ensure the flight path is clear of air traffic, adjust your speed so as not to overshoot the airport, balance your aircraft to land parallel to the ground, operate your flaps to control lift to raise the plane and land steeper, operate your landing gear to ensure a safe landing and finally brake to stop the aircraft after landing. Collaboration and nerves of steel are required to succeed! Are there two of you, have you always wanted to fly a plane and is the atmosphere better if you don't play against each other but with each other? Then quickly get Sky Team. Although the game is cooperative, you have to make many decisions yourself because firstly the players are not allowed to communicate during the game and secondly the rolled dice are not visible to the other player. The rules are relatively simple, but the decisions you have to make make the game very challenging! In Sky Team you, as a pilot and co-pilot, try to land your plane safely in 7 laps. First you choose an airport and a scenario. Each round you can discuss briefly before rolling the dice. From that moment on, no more communication is allowed and you are not allowed to see each other's dice. You take turns placing a die on, for example, the engines, aircraft flaps, the landing gear or the axle. Each dice laid has its own conditions and consequences. You try to work together and interpret the order in which your colleague places his dice as best as possible. After all dice have been deployed and the plane is still floating in the air, the next round begins. If you reach the airport after 7 laps with the right speed and in a horizontal position, you win the game. But the next tough challenge awaits.

If the player chooses the last option, they receive a card from the stock. Each card has a value. If you repeatedly ask for a card during your turn, you score more and more points, but if you receive a card you already had, you lose everything! If you turn over 7 different cards, you score bonus points. The higher a card's value, the more often it appears in play. Do you stop in time to save your points, or do you risk everything for extra points? Once all players stop or are out, everyone adds up their points and the next round begins. In this well-known laying game, the players jointly build the French city of Carcassonne with all its roads, towns, monasteries and meadows. By deploying serfs they score points for completed projects. Each turn you place one land tile and you may place one follower on it. Which type it is depends on the tile. There are tiles with road sections, monasteries, city districts and/or meadow sections. In principle, there may not be more than one follower on a project, but if two unfinished parts are built together, it can still happen that more followers end up on them. Whoever has the most followers on a completed project immediately receives points. Different rules apply to the number of points to be received for each type of project. The game ends when all tiles have been placed. Whoever has the most points wins. Carcassonne is loved by both families and experienced players because it has sufficient depth despite the simple rules. The touch of luck gives everyone the opportunity to participate in the win until the end. The Games Friends: “ Carcassonne is of course a classic and we completely understand why. In Finspan, the fish you discover in the depths of the ocean over a 4-week period provide a variety of rewards. Each dive site specializes in a key aspect of expanding your research: expanding your fish collection, discovering freshly laid eggs, hatching eggs into young, and nurturing the young into shoals. The player with the most points for their fish, eggs, young, shoals, and achievements at the end of the game wins. Finspan is an accessible board game for people who like to build up an engine during a game and enjoy a lot of variation. The game is based on the world-famous bird game Wingspan by Elizabeth Hargrave, who also worked on this game. Finspan is easy to learn and can be an excellent stepping stone to the slightly more difficult Wingspan and the challenging Wyrmspan! Finspan lasts 4 rounds (weeks). In each round you have 6 turns. In your turn you may play a fish, taking into account its cost and the zone in which the fish can live. Or you dive at one of your dive locations to receive the rewards of the fish at that location. This can include receiving eggs, hatching them or even moving fish on your tableau. All these rewards give you points in different ways at the end of the game. Whoever has collected the most points after 4 rounds wins the game.

Japan, 1761: Harima Province. Daimyo Sakai Tadazumi is one of the top advisors to the Tokugawa Shogunate, which rules the Himeji Castle region. It is therefore in the interest of the various local tribes to be seen in a good light by the Sakai tribe. To gain influence, they must get members of their family at every level within the White Castle. In The White Castle you take on the role of a leader of a small tribe. You fight for the position and future of your tribe in the court of the White Heron. Cunning and precise resource management and housing relatives within Himeji Castle are the key to victory! On his turn, he chooses a die from one of the three bridges and places it on the game board or his own tableau. The value of the die he covers with this determines whether he has to pay money for it or receives it. For choosing a low die you get a bonus, which becomes increasingly attractive as the game progresses. Then you perform the actions associated with the field in question. The different areas, such as the spring, the training grounds and the castle, offer different options for action. You can receive coins, daimyo seals and resources, but also install gardeners or have tribe members climb the social ladder within the castle as courtiers until they perhaps reach the daimyo's floor. You will score some points during the game, but it is mainly about the situation at the end. Then your courtiers earn points in different ways. Because the dice on the bridges and the dice tiles on the game board are always rolled and placed randomly, the starting position is different every game. The same applies to the promotions available in the different places. As a result, The White Castle of Himeji always remains surprising and challenging.

In the fourth edition of Clever 4ever you will once again collect as many points as possible. Through 5 different categories and the bonus actions, you try to fill in combinations on your score sheet as cleverly as possible with the dice. Dice that you do not use go to the tray, so that your opponents can also choose dice during your turn. This is familiar territory for seasoned Clever players. But what are the new categories? The colors blue, yellow, green, pink and gray each score points in their own way: The yellow category consists of 3 rows. You may only enter increasing numbers in the top row. You can complete the rows below as you wish. The second row constitutes negative points, the third row normal points. The more boxes you complete, the more bonuses you get. In the blue category you use the blue and white die. Together the two dice form coordinates with which you can check a box in a large square. You score points by putting at least two crosses per row, column or diagonal. In gray you have to fill in fields again and again based on the number of the die. A field consists of a number of squares, which must correspond to the number of spots on the die. The new fields must also be adjacent to previously checked fields. Green consists of a row of boxes that you must fill in from left to right. Each box is split in two. The bottom half gives you an immediate bonus. The other half, in combination with the first half, gives the total number of points. You can choose whether you first complete a box completely or whether you prefer to fill in the bottom halves first to quickly score bonuses. Pink also consists of a row of boxes. You may enter any number indicated by the die in each box. However, in pink, each number has a property. For example, a 5 immediately gives the bonus under the box, while with a 3 you can immediately write down a second 3, but you are not allowed to take any bonuses. All categories are again full of bonuses that can cause combinations and chain reactions. Whoever knows how to use these combinations as smartly as possible wins Clever 4ever.
